We are a leading industrial valve manufacturer focused on designing, engineering, and producing pressure-relief and control valve solutions for high-stakes industrial environments. We specialize in safety relief, high-pressure relief, back-pressure relief, choke/control, and pilot-operated valves. What you’ll do Partner with sales and customer service teams to provide technical guidance, material recommendations (elastomers, seat materials, metals), and valve selection for customer-specific applications across multiple product lines. Engineer and size valves to customer specifications, developing detailed data sheets, drawings, and technical documentation. Prepare cut sheet presentations with dimensional drawings, bills of material, and supporting data for client review. Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and create detailed Bills of Materials in the ERP system. Approve sales orders and ensure design alignment with customer requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot, sustain, and improve product design and manufacturability. Develop and execute Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) related to drawings, materials, and design improvements. Provide technical support to assembly, supply chain, and quality control teams, including review of component prints and material specifications. Maintain accurate and standardized part nomenclature and numbering systems. Write and maintain build/test procedures for assembly operations. What you bring Hands-on experience in design or application engineering for at least one of the following: Safety Relief Valves (Reclosing/Non-Reclosing), Control Valves, Chokes. Proficiency in SolidWorks (primary), with additional experience in ProE or AutoCAD preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and collaboration. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with 2-4 years of related experience, or an Associate’s degree with 5-7 years of experience. Must be based in the Oklahoma City area – onsite position. Preferred knowledge Familiarity with key industry codes and standards: ASME Sec I-IX, B16.34, B16.47, B16.5, API 6A/608, Q1/ISO, NACE MR0175, CSA Z245, CE/PED, CRN. Background in metallurgy and/or welding processes is a plus. Location and work setting Onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
