Job Description
As a Field Service Technician – 100% , you will be responsible for performing and training on major component replacements and repair services as needed across the Invenergy fleet. Ensure all operations and maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with Invenergy policies and procedures.
You should expect to travel away from home for 4-week intervals while returning home for a week of time off. Locations Included:
Must reside in one of the following states: Wisconsin Illinois South Dakota Iowa Minnesota Responsibilities
Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms. Train site personnel in Operations activities including Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System. Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on various equipment platforms and manufacturers. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems. Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of equipment platforms. Perform inspections and prepare reports. Complete daily and monthly reports. Write and revise procedures for component replacements. Perform activities safely, following Invenergy policies. Travel in 4-week intervals away from home, returning for a week off. Required Skills
One (1) year of technical experience or education in mechanical, electrical, etc. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.). Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work at heights over 80 meters (250 feet). Weight limit of 120 kg (265 lbs.), excluding gear. Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Skills
Two (2) years of technical experience or education related to renewable energy systems. Interest and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Self-motivated. Experience with multiple platforms preferred. Proficient in troubleshooting software systems. Ability to work safely with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office. This is a safety-sensitive position. Conditional offers are subject to drug testing with a negative result. Base Pay
$31.67 - $51.58 USD per hour. Bonus: 0% - 10%. The total compensation may include bonuses based on performance.
