Lumiere Children's Therapy is seeking an exceptional patient-focused Speech-Language Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and may supervise incoming Speech Therapists in the future. Responsibilities include private client work, preschool, and collaboration within private schools. Strong CF will be considered. Requirements Speech Therapy (ST) Licensure in the State of Illinois 1-2 years of experience; strong CF will be considered Positive attitude and a team player Belief that your skills can make a profound and lasting impact on the children served Responsibilities Address client needs and skill development Select and adapt speech therapy treatment models and approaches per case Apply interventions to maximize performance in all areas of need Provide parent/caregiver education Observe, note, and report progress toward short- and long-term goals Collect data and document processes Complete notes and paperwork in a timely fashion Skills Proven working experience as a speech therapist Strong knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media Familiarity with speech therapy evaluation tools Ability to work with clients with diverse needs, including Autism Commitment to ongoing professional growth Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication skills Benefits 401K Chicago paid sick time PTO Holidays Short- and long-term disability Medical, Dental, Vision CEUs Bereavement leave – 2 days We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
