Senior Clinical Specialist - CAS, ST. Louis, MO. Remote position not located at a Medtronic site; the candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives. Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance. Receive technical inquiries from customers and research solutions (e.g., Catheter, Console, Generator support). Educational Support: educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures; include one-on-one trainings, in-service education programs, seminars and outside symposiums; assist RM and field training in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers; provide training resources for hospital staff to enable them to conduct training for their personnel. Sales Support: update sales representatives on procedures; immediately notify Account Manager regarding issues requiring follow-up. Serve as a Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff; promote safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives; partner with Account Manager to achieve and exceed goals. Minimum Requirements
High School diploma PLUS a minimum of 8 years of healthcare experience within an EP, Cath Lab setting or cardiac sales field OR Associate degree PLUS a minimum of 6 years of healthcare experience within an EP, Cath Lab setting or cardiac sales OR Bachelor degree PLUS a minimum of 4 years of healthcare experience within an EP, Cath Lab setting or cardiac sales Preferred Qualifications
Local candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience preferred B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences or technical discipline with at least four years in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales Pacing school/ATI-like training; proven track record with technical training assignments Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support Additional Job Requirements
Exposure to infectious disease and radiation Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory daily for unscheduled needs; travel outside territory and overnight stays may be required Ability to move freely in facilities, operate computers, and stand/sit/walk for up to 8 hours Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 80% Benefits & Equal Opportunity
