Responsible to create and execute residential and commercial programs among all segments in the specified regional area to expand Rinnai’s market share. Coordinate with the territory managers, BDM team, and Regional Sales Manager to ensure the team is effectively maximizing opportunities to achieve corporate objectives. Responsibilities

Manage a territory within Northern California and surrounding areas. Travel up to 75% within the territory. Achieve sales targets, strategies, and tactics for the assigned territory. Drive sales development and growth of Repair and Replace, new construction builder plumbing contractors, and commercial mechanical/plumbing contractors. Provide product and installation training to plumbing contractors by segment. Implement pricing, discounts, advertising, and programs as approved by the Director of Sales. Manage and align with distribution partners in the Territory. Travel efficiently to deliver sales targets and market development responsibilities. Quarterly review of progress and milestone setting. Conduct product knowledge training for all distributor sales (inside, outside, counter, and showroom). Plan and execute plumber and commercial client alignment and create localized plumber conversion programs for each responsible MSA. Build and present data to move Builders and Plumbers from tanks to tankless; maintain distributor and sales outlet contact to support supply chain. Utilize CRM to manage all sales funnel activities. Maintain relationships with strategic plumber partners and Regional RNC plumber management. Monitor and analyze field sales reports, interpret results, and take corrective action to achieve targets. Assist in preparing annual and monthly sales forecasts and targets. Conduct commercial jobsite visits to assist in system commissioning; resolve customer complaints and field issues. Provide support in identifying and addressing field product performance/quality issues with Engineering. Provide monthly training, competitive intelligence, and product requirements information as prescribed by Director of Sales. General regional administrative reporting and quarterly market summaries. Timely T&E expense submission and training-class logging to meet territory metrics. Manage all plumber contracts and programming; resolve field-related issues. Travel required: 40%–75% depending on territory. Requirements

Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of demonstrated sales management experience in the construction products industry. Industry knowledge including construction products and gas appliance applications. Experience in sales leadership, management, and direct selling; ability to work with C-suite decision makers. Financial acumen to support clients and leverage RAC benefits. Experience with distribution accounts supporting the dealer supply chain and developing dealer networks for all verticals. Ability to present data like HERS ratings and energy efficiency benefits of RAC products. Skills

Understand and manage client needs to foster business alignment; negotiate outcomes. Organize workloads, set priorities, and demonstrate strong analytical and administrative skills. Technical ability to market directly to each segment and their partners. Present and manage marketing campaigns with ROI focus; proficient use of CRM and related tools. Abilities

Relationship building; strong team player; self-motivated with initiative and achievement orientation. Effective presentation skills to client groups; ability to influence stakeholders and develop sound business plans. Motivate team members and present technical products to varied audience sizes.
