Overview
San Diego’s St. Paul’s PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) serves individuals 55 years or older who are living with chronic illness or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to live as independently as possible at home and in the community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul’s PACE provide a hands-on approach, coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals do not need to manage their medical care alone.
This is a Full-time onsite position in our Mission Valley Office. The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
Job Summary Under the supervision of the VP of PACE Operations, the Enrollments Manager oversees enrollment staff at all St. Paul’s PACE (SPP) sites, ensuring monthly and annual sales goals are achieved. The Enrollment Manager will coach and motivate sales teams, and provide regular training in accordance with successful sales practices and management tools provided by SPSS. The role ensures the enrollment process operates smoothly at all PACE sites, working with all SPP teams including clinical staff and center directors. The Enrollments Manager accurately monitors performance of all steps of the sales process and reports trends on a monthly and annual basis to the VP of PACE Operations.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring SPSS/SPP policies and procedures are implemented by the enrollment team and updated per DHCS & CMS licensing. Arranging quarterly audit packages for DHCS and managing all DHCS/CMS audit protocols. Managing hiring and all aspects of employee management, including Gallup training, engagement requirements, and annual reviews. Orienting new employees and providing training, as well as orienting new clinical staff on PACE enrollment practices and arranging/hosting internal in-services on enrollment processes and marketing needs.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in health care or business management.
PACE Enrollments Manager must pass the DHCS Marketing exam within 120 days of employment.
Experience:
5+ years of enrollments experience in a health care setting
2+ years of leadership experience
Candidate will have a strong knowledge of the senior and nonprofit industries.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent knowledge of current sales techniques and practices, with the ability to train and motivate sales teams.
Strong knowledge of the PACE program, resulting in completion of the PACE Marketing License and implementation of policies.
Strong team player capable of motivating teams while maintaining healthy relationships.
Employee management knowledge such as evaluations, payroll, and scheduling.
Strong mathematical ability for tracking sales trends, incentive planning, and reports using Excel; accuracy is essential.
Ability to understand and discuss trends with Enrollment Process Facilitator and present to the team.
Strong problem solving, strategic and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal as they relate to PACE programs.
Superior computer proficiency in word processing, Excel, data entry, spreadsheet applications, Microsoft Outlook, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. No training is required for Word, Excel, or Outlook.
Electronic health care systems training will be provided as needed.
