Lead new model projects to mass production in the plastics department while ensuring all project targets are achieved in each of the SEQCDM categories. Key accountabilities

Project Planning & Coordination: Define SQDCM targets, manage investment/expense items, and lead cross-functional meetings with PEBU and internal teams. Trial & Event Leadership: Coordinate line trials, tool delivery, material schedules, and part quality with forming teams. Develop Injection Molding Process according to Honda standards. Mass Production Readiness: Ensure training, documentation, quality databases, and GPCS systems are in place before launch. Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present “WAR” documents and evaluation event updates to leadership. Hands-On Support: Provide on-site support for data collection, equipment readiness, and issue resolution Workstyle

Role involves providing trial support on weekends. May have to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift on a need basis - less than 5% of the time. Role can be hands-on with 5,000 to 10,000 steps a day Should be able to lift 30 lb and move at least 50 feet. Visa sponsorship issues

BSME / BSEE or equivalent relevant work experience required 5 or more years in manufacturing, Plastics, and/or new model engineering. Need someone who has launched new projects and developed injection molding processes Technical Skills: Injection Molding experience and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with injection molding and other plastics manufacturing equipment and tooling. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results. Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with PLC controls systems (Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi), programming automation - FANUC, ABB etc End of arm tooling creation What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
