Our client in commercial real estate is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their lean, collaborative team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you’ll oversee smaller-scale projects (typically under $500k) across office, retail, and flex properties while playing a vital role in training and supporting the property management team on construction-related issues. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on construction management experience, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. Manage multiple construction projects under $500k from planning through closeout Visit sites across MD and VA weekly to inspect work and resolve issues Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders Oversee schedules, budgets, and scope to ensure quality execution Conduct project status meetings and communicate progress to leadership Train property managers on construction documents and workflows Lead "lunch and learn" sessions to build team construction literacy Support leasing and property management teams with project input Review bids and drawings; approve before external distribution Track project costs and identify potential savings Qualifications
2+ years of construction or project management experience required Knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety, and best practices required Project management software experience required Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally 3x/week required Details
Location: Bethesda, MD Salary: $100,000–$120,000 + 10% Bonus Job Type: Full-Time Hours: M – F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET Travel: Local site visits 3x per week (up to 90 minutes away) and 2-3 overnight trips a year Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Salary range information is provided by the recruiting company and may differ from actual compensation.
