The Adult Academic Health Center seeks an experienced candidate to serve as the peri-operative medical director across IU Health Methodist and University Hospital peri-operative services. This role involves partnering with leadership including the perioperative administrative director, COO, and CMO to support perioperative services and professionals. The Medical Director will develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff, and will facilitate efforts to ensure the perioperative clinical enterprise is coordinated, integrated, and operationally efficient. Qualifications
IU Health internal applicants only M.D. or D.O. degree with current Indiana medical license Practicing surgeon or anesthesiologist Good standing medical staff appointment at IU Health Preferably at least 5 years on staff at IU Health Strong leadership and people management skills, with proven problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, relationship-driven culture Why Join IU Health?
