What We Do

As a member of the Growth Marketing team, you will contribute to direct-to-consumer growth at Calm. We are a small, hungry and humble team that seeks innovative ways to bring new users into the Calm App and Calm.com. We combine data-driven strategy with creative problem solving to drive consumer growth across App, Web and Offline Marketing channels. We continually optimize and scale new and existing ad networks and channels. We value a proactive, can-do attitude, data-driven decision-making, high EQ, cross-functional collaboration, resourcefulness, and curiosity.

We are hiring remote workers for this role in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, or Minneapolis areas. At this time, only candidates in these locations will be considered.

What You’ll Do

The Growth Marketing Analytics Lead plays a central role in Calm’s consumer growth. This person will work closely with Data Science and Data Engineering as well as Product and cross-functional teams to carry out Growth Marketing / User Acquisition initiatives related to channel performance pacing, data integrity, roadmapped projects, and overall priorities aligned with wider business goals. Key responsibilities include: Working strategically with media buyers to understand channel-level data, identify growth/optimization opportunities, key trends and actionable insights by channel Proactively driving performance by helping UA media buyers improve their campaigns based on trends and performance data Monitoring and safeguarding UA events and key performance metrics, including managing the UA data pipeline alongside DS/DE, maintaining UA data models, and identifying UA data bugs Owning team communications and analytics needed to solve or escalate to appropriate cross-functional partners (DS, DE, Product, etc.) Owning Marketing Measurement Strategy, including managing attribution logic models (SKAdNetwork, Offline lift models, view-through, etc.) and identifying new opportunities not currently available within the current reporting and measurement process Seeking out new industry approaches to scope, test, and potentially incorporate to elevate measurement solutions Owning UA/legal cross-functional processes for pushing event/data privacy related technical changes

Who You Are

Strong communicator, both written and verbal Extremely strong attention to detail A self-starter who is excited to improve team efficiency and build new processes from scratch Proficiency in BI software including Excel, Tableau and Mode Project management skills, ability to juggle multiple aspects of a project and prioritize tasks appropriately Proactive with a tendency to follow up and assume ownership Curious, enthusiastic, and passionate about quality

Experience working on subscription or health and wellness products Experience managing data security and/or health data privacy Experience working with Segment and Amplitude This role typically requires 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations and Analytics

Compensation and Benefits

Calm uses a geographic pay model. For this position, base pay ranges from $140,400 to $214,500, with exact salary determined by geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications. The base pay range represents the low and high end of Calm’s salary range for this position. This role is eligible for equity, comprehensive benefits, 401k, and flexible time off.
