Overview
The Non-Agency Client Relations Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring performance of all Non-Agency Investor review and sale processes across the Originations’ businesses. This role will be responsible for the hiring and training team members, process development and ongoing review and updates to ensure the quality of loan delivery, sale and review processes at Onity are in line with Investor requirements and an excellent client experience. This role will require collaboration and coordination with leadership across a number of internal partners within Product Development, Sales, Credit/Underwriting, Operations, Capital Markets, Warehouse/Treasury, and Enterprise Risk to ensure smooth setup and delivery of loans as well as collaboration and coordination across multiple external partners and vendors to ensure the completion of all required business activities align with Investor delivery requirements. Job Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples below: Manage Non-Agency loan pipeline across origination channels, investors, and third-party review firms to meet SLAs and performance targets. Review and resolve complex underwriting, compliance, and disclosure conditions. Coordinate loan scenarios and exceptions with internal and external stakeholders. Develop and maintain delivery systems, tools, and procedures to support investor requirements. Ensure adherence to investor, PHH, and regulatory guidelines; identify and resolve discrepancies through cross-functional collaboration. Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Capital Markets, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Training teams to support delivery and execution. Stay current on Non-Agency and Agency guidelines and regulatory changes. Lead team operations including capacity planning, performance management, and resource allocation. Monitor and report on compliance, quality, productivity, and production metrics. Drive process improvements to reduce risk, enhance efficiency, and improve client experience. Collaborate with Risk and Capital Markets on product development and quality trend analysis. Foster employee engagement and development through coaching, training, and mentoring. Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and experience: Four year degree from an accredited university preferred. Preferably with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, or banking/equivalent education or applicable years of experience in the Correspondent Lending Non-Delegated channel. Minimum of 10 years mortgage related experience including leadership positions Demonstrated success and experience in Non Agency lending including credit underwriting knowledge, transaction skills supporting whole loan sale and securitizations, condition management with third party diligence firms and custodians Possess and demonstrate a broad, fundamental understanding of Correspondent Lending including Underwriting and Operations. Proven ability to lead and develop team members in line with regulatory and internal standards Extensive understanding of compliance, processing, underwriting and closing procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Outlook). Previous experience with Encompass preferred Excellent verbal and written communicator, able to influence at all levels within the organization seamlessly Training / Licensing Requirements
Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable. The salary range for this position is expected to be $125,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for annual bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. #PHH
