## ## Job Description:Position Description:Builds and deploys REST Application Program Interfaces (APIs) by leveraging tools such as Spring Boot.
Applies Test Driven Design (TDD) concepts to test and debug automated solutions and software utilities. Coordinates Web-based applications using Cloud technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure, and its services like Kubernetes. Implements process improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments such as Agile. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.Primary Responsibilities:* Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.* Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.* Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.* Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.* Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.* Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.* Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.* Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.* Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.* Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing healthcare Web applications using J2EE and Spring frameworks.Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing healthcare Web applications using J2EE and Spring frameworks.Skills and Knowledge:Candidate must also possess:* Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) architecting and developing robust, multi-tiered benefit administration applications using Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Spring frameworks; ensuring seamless integration between application components by employing Service-Oriented Architectures (SOAs) and message queues including Azure Service Bus and ActiveMQ;
and tracking application performance, identifying potential issues, and ensuring optimal system health by utilizing monitoring and observability tools, including Datadog and Splunk.* DE designing and implementing relational database models to support complex benefit administration systems for data manipulation and retrieval within PostgreSQL databases, utilizing SQL queries; and streamlining data access and persistence by integrating object-relational mapping frameworks, including Hibernate.* DE building modern, responsive user interfaces for benefit administration platforms using JavaScript frameworks including Angular, Vue.js, and LitElement; and creating accessible and visually appealing web applications using HTML, CSS3, and TypeScript.* DE designing and developing RESTful APIs for benefit administration systems using Apigee (for API management and security); deploying and scaling application in cloud environments using containerization technologies, including Kubernetes; and implementing database version control and change management (ensuring data integrity and facilitating seamless deployments) using Liquibase.#PE1M2#LI-DNI## ## Certifications:## ## Category:## Information TechnologyFidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences.
