What this position entails By leveraging our relationships with retail pharmacy chains, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and data clearinghouses, Milliman IntelliScript assesses pharmacy and other types of data on both identified and de-identified basis. Data Analysts on the Technical Operations team are responsible for implementing and testing client-specific configurations of our system. Work on and manage a variety of routine and ad-hoc client and clinical requests Manage internal and external project-related documentation with accuracy Innovation and ideas are always welcome at IntelliScript, and success is highly visible Enjoy autonomy to work independently with strong trust and communication among the team What you will be doing Support Irix technology, serving as a technical subject matter expert Learn the inner workings of our technology, and communicate effectively on technical subjects Execute all non-clinical adjustments to Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical adjustments where necessary Perform detailed impact and regression testing within the Irix Rules Engine for client and clinical changes Conduct mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies following rule changes Assist with user acceptance testing of system changes Create, identify, and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes Update project management system with specifications and changes, statuses of tasks Check and validate team members’ work and results in peer review workflow Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives Deploy cloud-based systems to test Deploy legacy on-prem systems to test & production What we need 1+ years of professional experience Experience working in Databricks and AWS Familiarity with MS Office: Excel in particular Familiarity with SQL The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA) What you bring to the table Equally comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively Adapts to an established process, able to move projects along in a timeframe Proactively address issues, move toward and “own” the resolution Extremely well organized Adheres to the utmost accuracy in all work Loves to learn, takes every opportunity they’re given to develop knowledge and skills Ability to work directly with clients to understand their configuration needs and give technical explanations of our system Wish list Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field Experience in financial services, actuarial science, and/or insurance underwriting Relevant advanced degree or certification Quality Assurance experience Location This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI. Compensation The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $125,040.
