Job Description
The key objective of the Regional Security Sales Director (RSSD) is to increase revenue and profits of the security business through expertise in business development, support of the sales team, demand generation, security OEM relationships, client relations, and team management across the technology sales force by aggressive marketing into current and future customer sites. Job Responsibilities: The RSSD will be teamed with the regional architect assigned to a geographical area or region. They will have overall responsibility to drive the growth of our security business in their assigned area. Train and mentor the account executives in their assigned region regarding security products to sell, presentation and approach to clients, and responding to questions pertaining to specific sales opportunities. The RSSD will participate in the pursuit (or lead) of significant security opportunities. Identify, pursue, and capture new accounts in their assigned region that are not current clients of the account executive team. Participate in region meetings, conferences, WebEx sessions, blogs, etc., to evangelize the security sales strategy. Be responsible for the pursuit and capture of all security assessment opportunities in the region, and follow up for additional business once results are delivered to the client. Keep all opportunities for security listed in CRM up to date. Collaborate with account executives on status updates and support needs. Gather information on sales trends and client interests to inform the Security Council; participate as a member of the Security Council. Maintain relationships with sales teams of Tier 1 and Tier 2 security vendors to identify future opportunities and coordinate support for existing pursuits. Job Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to interact effectively with internal teams across departments. Ability to foster a team-oriented environment that is fair, open, honest, and competitive. Strong leadership, communication skills, and work ethic. Knowledge of relevant technologies. Experience with management and pipeline tracking. Understanding of the sales cycle. Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads. Strong business judgment and negotiation skills. Education and Experience:
Minimum of 8+ years of management experience. Candidate MUST have security OEM sales experience. Minimum of 10+ years of successful technology sales experience with at least 8 years of consistent quota achievement. Additional Information
