Volt is immediately hiring for “Integration & Test Engineer - ENG02” in “Tewksbury Massachusetts”.
Responsibilities
Assisting with and implementing one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
Performing MIL-STD-882 System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400).
Assisting with analysis of engineering hardware and electrical drawings and schematics assessing for fault tolerance, latent hazards, and safety requirements compliance
Working with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in place
Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
Provide creative solutions to maximize safety functionality without impeding critical performance.
This is a 12-month opportunity with possible extension.

Secret
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience
An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
Experience with Safety Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical or Firmware Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DoD System Safety Programs e.g. MIL-STD-882 / DO-178
Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment
Experience interfacing with Human Systems Integration showcasing execution of Human Factors Engineering tasking involving MIL-STD-1472
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and Proposal Development
Familiarity with Engineering Change Proposals, Engineering Review Boards, System Safety Working Groups
Additional Job Details Pay Rate:
$65/hr-$80/hr
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
