enGenius Consulting Group, Inc (enGenius) is seeking a
Senior Budget Analyst
to support HQ Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work with little to no supervision, be pro-active and able to communicate with technical experts. Responsibilities
Assist with the development and production of the budget justification and collaborate with program personnel to collect and analyze items included in the POM and BES submissions, such as budget narrative, cost and revenue template, spend plans, cost transfer matrix, revenue by customer, revenue pricing structure, and Fund 9 exhibits. Support development, tracking, management, and submission of appropriated and working capital budget items for the Transport Services (IE) accounts. Assist with formulation and distribution of corporate taxes, collection and consolidation of program spend (monthly obligation and disbursement) plans, and production of required APP deliverables. Assist with formulation and distribution of management reserves and discretionary spending targets; collect and manage the program cost and obligation spend plans; provide financial oversight of issued funding; ensure data, reports, tracking, management, and submission maintain 90% accuracy based on system source data. Support Unfunded Requirements and Issue Paper submissions, DAR-Q, and Mid-Year Reviews, as well as additional budget and execution related duties. Support the hybrid work arrangement (on-site twice per week) in compliance with DISA directives. Candidates not within commuting distance of Ft Meade, MD will not be considered. Qualifications
Required Clearance Active DoD Secret Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline. Minimum of 8 years of experience in federal financial management, reporting, and analysis. Strong knowledge of federal financial policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks (OMB, Treasury, GAO). Proven experience supporting ITA or related federal agencies highly preferred. Ability to conduct and present financial and functional analyses to senior leadership. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Active Secret Security Clearance is required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience serving DISA and 8+ years in budget-related roles. Level III Department of Defense Financial Management Certificate or equivalent (such as CDFM, CGFM, CPA, etc.).
