CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a select Software Engineer that wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their talents and experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment in support of US Special Operations Command. This opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in planning, implementing, developing, and maintaining applications for a GIS Enterprise and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. Responsibilities
Use advanced software engineering techniques to perform complex analysis, design and modification of applications and databases for GIS Enterprise. Perform software development, deployment, and maintenance of both custom and ad-hoc applications supporting geospatial intelligence analysis workflows. Utilize excellent communication skills to include technical writing and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Recommend innovative technologies that enhance the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products and provide integrated systems planning. Utilize exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities, including troubleshooting technical issues; successfully resolving project issues and challenges; and understanding user requirements to develop creative software solutions for process improvements. Qualifications
Required: Active TS/SCI clearance is required 8 years software development experience Proficiency in C# and Python programming languages Ability to create and develop custom tools utilizing RDBMS, NoSQL data stores, and distributed processing of large datasets Able to perform high level/expert intelligence systems development design and evaluation Possess strong oral and written communication skills Capable of performing as a team and effectively directing subordinates High level/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial oriented data Required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01 (Security+) Ability and willingness to continue to expand knowledge and experience to be detail oriented and to prioritize and complete assigned tasks within required deadlines Desired: Bachelor’s degree and three additional years of general experience in the intelligence community and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is
$93,500 - $196,500. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
