Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Software Development Engineer II to join our Kuiper team in designing and implementing automation solutions for satellite contact setups and validations. The ideal candidate will leverage their advanced programming skills, particularly in Python, to develop monitoring and diagnostic tools, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. This role requires a commitment to code quality, a drive for continuous system enhancements, and mentorship to junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation solutions for efficient satellite contact setups and validation processes. Develop robust monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure system reliability and early fault detection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation objectives with overall operational goals. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, enhancing system stability and test process performance. Contribute to best practices in code quality and provide mentorship to junior engineering colleagues.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong programming skills with a preference for Python. Experience in Linux and embedded platforms. Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
Domain/Industry Experience: Experience in satellite communication or related fields is highly desired.
