Alpha Business Images (ABI) is seeking an

Associate Creative Director – Copywriting

to bring bold ideas and exceptional storytelling to life. This role is built for a seasoned copywriter who has grown into a creative leader. Someone who can craft powerful brand voices, guide teams, and inspire concepts that connect deeply with audiences. You’ll spend about

60% of your time writing and editing copy

across channels (brand campaigns, digital, video, and experiential) and

40% leading, mentoring and managing creative teams,

ensuring that every idea is strategically sound, emotionally resonant, and flawlessly executed. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in agency environments, with the ability to move fluidly between concepting, writing, presenting to clients, and elevating the work of other writers. Design familiarity is welcome, but this is

first and foremost a copywriting leadership role. Key Responsibilities:

Hard Skills : Expert-level copywriting and editing across short-form, long-form, video, digital, concept creation and integrated campaigns. Hard Skills : Strong understanding of brand voice, messaging strategy, data insights, and audience-driven storytelling. Hard Skills : Familiarity with design and production processes (bonus, not primary). Hard Skills : Experience with agency project/operations tools like Function Fox. Soft Skills : Exceptional communicator with the ability to inspire teams and persuade clients with language. Soft Skills : Strong leadership and team management capabilities, especially managing projects and creatives. Soft Skills : Strategic thinker who can translate brand positioning into breakthrough creative. Soft Skills : Detail-oriented, organized, adaptable in fast-paced environments. Experience

7+ years of agency copywriting experience with a portfolio that demonstrates campaign-level thinking, not just single executions. Experience leading creative teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners. Proven ability to present, defend, and refine creative work with clients. Project Management:

Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations. Collaborate with production teams to manage resources efficiently and address any project challenges. Monitor project progress, including budgeted resources (like project hours), and provide creative direction to maintain momentum and focus. Team Leadership and Development:

Manage and mentor designers, copywriters, and other creatives, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Provide constructive feedback to enhance team members’ professional growth and project outcomes. Assist in recruiting and onboarding new creative talent. Strategic Contribution:

Work closely with strategy and analytics teams to ensure creative concepts are informed by data and aligned with client objectives. Participate in business development efforts, including pitches and proposal development for potential clients. Innovation and Trends:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor work, and market shifts to inspire fresh ideas and maintain the agency’s competitive edge. Encourage the adoption of new tools, platforms, and creative techniques. Compensation:

Associate Creative Director salary starting at

$85,000

annually + total rewards benefits package, depending on experience. Salary compensation includes health, dental and vision benefits. Vacation from day one Hybrid work week. Downtown Dallas.
