SPARK is looking for a Copywriter who can contribute to both the concept and execution of brand systems, ad campaigns, and their stories. Our Copywriters elevate work throughout the creative process by weaving ideas into strategy-driven stories and refining how they are presented. By building on initial concepts with attention to detail and craft, they ensure our work is ready for the national stage. The Basics

1-3 years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency. Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media including TV, OOH, and digital and brand experiences. Strong understanding of copywriting principles of storytelling, communication, tone/voice. Creative Writing

Develop clear, compelling copy for branding, advertising, digital, and print. Craft campaign concepts and taglines that communicate brand truths and inspire action. Write long-form content such as website copy, case studies and scripts that engage and inform. Adapt tone, style and messaging for diverse audiences, channels and client industries. Collaboration and Concepting

Partner with designers and art directors to develop cohesive and impactful creative concepts. Collaborate with the brand team and project managers to understand client goals, brand truths and project objectives. Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and messaging solutions. Editing and Refining

Review and refine the work, incorporating feedback from clients and internal teams. Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Help maintain brand voice consistency across all touchpoints. Staying Ahead of Trends

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms and best practices for effective communication. Bring fresh ideas and approaches to copywriting that elevate SPARK’s creative output. Soft Skills Required

Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and big ideas. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Receptive to feedback and able to refine the work while maintaining the integrity of the idea. Adaptable and resourceful, capable of writing for a variety of industries, styles and tones. Experience

Adobe Creative Cloud (ID, PS) experience a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or similar. Accepted file types: pdf, Max. file size: 500 MB.
