Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing team based out of the Mason OH office. The Software Engineer is a self-motivated professional focused on automated control systems and will lead and mentor a software team while driving technological choices behind complex automated control systems. You will be part of a group of professionals who provide expertise and ensure project success. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Software Engineers. Conceptualize, design, engineer, and execute industry-leading projects from start to finish. Develop complete and concise System Description of Operation (DOO), test plans and user guides. Interface with industry-leading customers. Integrate cutting-edge bar code reading technology to track and sort cases. Deliver successful material handling solutions by developing and implementing detailed commissioning plans. Attend project turnover meetings, functional design reviews and team meetings. Meet scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects. Maintain and track issues, reporting to the Supervisor/Manager as required. Perform code reviews and complete in-house testing and emulation. Provide site/field reports daily, including progress, issues, and next steps, as requested. Qualifications

BS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field. Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Office 365). Ability to mentor and lead other Software Engineers. Knowledgeable of object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Java) and C. Fieldbus knowledge (Profibus, EthernetIP, ControlNet, etc.). SQL experience. 5+ years of automation programming. Ability to evaluate electrical prints and define control device requirements. A valid driver’s license; willingness to travel up to 60%, and may work nights and/or weekends. We Value
