Location: Mid Hudson Region, NY (Field-Based)
Schedule: Part-Time, Flexible Scheduling (Weekdays + Weekends)
About The Role As a Cannabis Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our client brands inside dispensaries and pop-up events across the Buffalo and Niagara area. You'll engage directly with consumers and dispensary staff to drive product education, support compliant sales environments, and strengthen brand presence in a highly regulated market. This is a dynamic role that blends marketing, compliance, customer education, and in-field relationship building. Success requires curiosity, creativity, emotional intelligence, and strong organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities Represent cannabis brands at licensed retail dispensaries and approved pop-up events. Execute high-impact, compliant customer engagement strategies. Educate consumers on product categories, dosing, effects, and responsible use. Build trust with dispensary staff; introduce products and manage materials respectfully. Maintain booth cleanliness, proper signage, and brand-aligned displays. Log customer interactions, distribute marketing materials, and submit recap reports. Adhere strictly to NYS cannabis laws and Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) guidelines. Respond to common questions professionally while avoiding prohibited claims or behavior. Assist with basic inventory management, setup/tear-down, and field merchandising. Review information related to Brand Specific Products and Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications Prior experience in retail, customer service, sales, or promotional work preferred. Knowledge of cannabis products and willingness to complete regulatory training. Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills. Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Comfortable with light lifting, standing for long periods, and working flexible hours. Commitment to diversity, equity, and respectful engagement with all communities. Must be 21+ and eligible to work in New York State.
