Full Time General Cardiologists for Large Public Health and Hospital System in Silicon Valley Better Health for All Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time BC/BE general cardiologist to join our dynamic practice in the Department of Medicine. About Our Organization

Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals: Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - 731 beds), O’Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH – 93 beds) and Regional Medical Center (RMC - 258 beds). SCVH includes a network of primary care clinics (eleven health centers), urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health services, and a broad range of specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center. The region offers a high quality of life, with proximity to Monterey Bay (about 45 minutes) and the Sierra Nevada (about three hours). About the Division of Cardiology

The Division of Cardiology provides consultative inpatient services and outpatient care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease, among others. We are a key training site for SCVMC residents. Physicians joining the Division enjoy a collegial work environment with robust specialty and ancillary support and an integrated electronic health record system (Epic). About the Position

This position is for a board-eligible or board-certified general cardiologist. Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient work. Inpatient duties involve rounding on the CCU and consult services with residents. When not on inpatient service, physicians rotate with colleagues in clinic and read echoes, EKGs, and stress tests. The ideal candidate should be able to work closely with multiple individuals, including physicians, managers, and technicians. About Compensation and Benefits
