Overview

Our client is a precision sheet metal manufacturing and engineering company that provides high-quality sheet metal fabrication, engineering solutions, and integrated assembly services.

What you’ll do

• Develop setups and install a variety of hardware according to customer prints and manufacturer specifications.
• Follow department standard operating procedures.
• Set up hardware machines according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Use correct tooling to ensure hardware is secure, flush, protects threads, installed in proper quantities and locations, and meets torque specifications.
• Perform a wide range of configurations, from simple to complex, using multiple types, lengths, and widths across various patterns and flanges.
• Install pop rivets into units and sub-assemblies per customer prints.
• Ensure assemblies meet cosmetic and functional requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to use tools including (but not limited to): rivet gun, wrenches, screwdrivers, impact wrenches, torque drive tooling, various power/hand tools.
• Accurate usage of tape measure; fixture and testing equipment.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
