Jobs via Dice . Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (Combat) - Early Career. In this role you will contribute to design, analysis, implementation, test and integration of mission critical software. The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience in System Engineering of Weapons Control Systems product supporting Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) programs to meet cost and schedule. Responsibilities
Develop fire control, track filtering, guidance, engagement planning, and coordinate system alignment algorithms by performing design trades and simulating algorithms. Develop requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Experience with Unix/Linux, C++, Java, and/or Python. Experience in Agile workflow environment (e.g., JIRA, Scrum). Clearance: This position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills
Experience in requirements analysis, development, software test procedures development and execution. Experience with Data Analysis and troubleshooting. Experience with Git and/or GitLab. Experience in Model Based Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (e.g., Rhapsody, Cameo). Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills through math and physics.
