The mission of the GSOC This position is embedded full-time an industry-leading client in the MedTech sector managing their Global Security Communications Center (GSCC), the company's 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). As part of the Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE), the GSCC serves as the central hub for Global Security providing critical support to enterprise-wide security programs including travel security, crisis management, protective intelligence/executive protection, event security, investigations, as well as frontline intelligence monitoring and alerting. At its core, the GSCC acts as a centralized monitoring center to coordinate our client's response to crisis, emergencies and security situations while minimizing the impact on their enterprise and personnel. The GSCC is a single point of contact for all client employees as well as core departmental stakeholders including Global Security leaders, Site Points of Contact (SPOCs), cross-functional partners (Legal, HR, Communications, etc.) and domestic/international travelers to facilitate rapid contact, situational awareness, reporting, and response. In addition to monitoring and response, the GSCC fuses intelligence analysis to the situational awareness to create predictive reporting, risk mitigation recommendations, while also supporting with strategic forecasting, trend analysis, and broader risk assessment. The center operates on a 24/7 schedule globally, while also coordinating regional and localized support functions across the enterprise.

While the role is co-located within the Prosegur vSOC facility in Lowell, MA the GSSC team will be providing dedicated support to the client and interfacing with their Global Security team directly on a daily basis to execute on the clients' needs and support their programs.

Role responsibilities Reporting to the GRS Director of Client Services, the GRS embedded GSOC Manager is responsible for leading all Intelligence execution within the GSOC. This position is a working manager, who is heavily engaged in the tactical execution of the GSOC's operations but also leads and provides oversight to the team in the process. The GSOC Manager is responsible for training, coaching, hiring and disciplinary matters pertaining to the GSOC team. The GSOC Manager works closely with the client's Global Security team as well as with the GRS vSOC team to deliver timely and accurate intelligence support to the client's global operations.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Management

Manages, motivates, and develops a team of GSOC Intelligence Analysts, ensuring they adhere to policies and procedures.

Training and Development

Provides training and development opportunities for GSOC personnel, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Collaboration and Communication

Works with other Prosegur departments, including GRS vSOC, IT, HR, and iSOC personnel, to share information and coordinate efforts.

Reporting and Analysis

Drafts, reviews, and approves analytical products that are distributed to directly to client stakeholders; serves as a subject matter expert and approver on all intelligence-related processes, documents, etc.

Process Optimization

Works directly with the client to build out comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, thresholds and associated training to ensure the GSCC is able to effectively execute on all client needs.

Accountability

Accountable for ensuring the team executes seamlessly on all core processes and has the tools, training, and support to perform effectively; provides coaching and conducts root cause analysis to address and correct any identified gaps.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in security studies, international relations, or related field; or 4+ years equivalent military/professional intelligence training.

Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Expert-level written and verbal communications skills; capable of independently producing executive-level briefings and conducting assessments on complex topics. Ability to utilize multiple intelligence, incident management, and mass communications platforms; Prior experience and subject matter expertise using client tools and platforms (Ontic, Factal, Everbridge, ISOS, Vismo) strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in exercising good judgement and logic to make sound decisions, even when dealing with unique situations or incomplete information; capable of thriving in ambiguity.

Capable or providing real-time support and making split-second decisions in real-world crisis situations, including responding to app-based check-ins from employees in crisis situations, triaging and providing support during medical/travel emergencies, etc.
