Senior Art Director (Timberland)

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Brand Creative, this is a leadership role focused on the visual strategy and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are impactful and aligned with the brand’s overall vision and energy. This position is located at our Headquarters in Stratham, NH.

Art Director: Responsible for the overall visual direction and aesthetic of all branded content, ensuring they are visually compelling and effective

GTM (Go-To-Market): Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of launching a product or service into the market, encompassing pre-launch marketing to post-launch support

Responsibilities

Develop and implement compelling and engaging visual strategy for campaigns, ensuring brand objectives and consistency

Oversee the creation of visual assets, such as imagery, graphics, and video

Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product, to ensure alignment and consistency

Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in visual communication

Manage budgets and timelines with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life

Understand the target audience and market landscape to develop visuals that resonate with the intended audience

How you will do it

Collaborate with GTM teams to ensure that creative assets are aligned with overall marketing strategies and launch plans

Collaborate with copywriters, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective creative execution

Manage tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects

Present ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed

What you need to succeed We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like art, design, marketing, advertising, graphic design, or communications is helpful, but we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and your strong portfolio.

The foundational skills you will need in this position are:

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Strong sense of concepts and ability to clearly articulate an idea through specific references and design compositions

Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines

Managerial skills, including delegating tasks

Ability to adapt to different styles and visions to fit clients’ guidelines

Comfort with technology related to art as well as the latest production and art techniques

Strong knowledge of the Adobe suite and all current tools

Video editing ability

Post-production ability

Willingness to receive and implement feedback to improve designs

Solid experience in image making and industry relationships

The ability to manage and execute toolkits

Strong understanding of market trends - including new and existing talent

Fashion experience is a plus, with an understanding of brands across luxury, contemporary and commercial

Hiring details Hiring Range : $88,000.00 USD - $110,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
