Overview
Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Houston, TX. This is a 2 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist II (part-time or full time)
Locations: 9230 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77055
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $19 - 22.50/hour (Based on years of experience)
Base pay range
$19.00/hr - $22.50/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection procedures, including pediatric and geriatric draws.
- Prepare, process, and label specimens accurately according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Verify patient identity and demographic information; ensure tubes are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for specimen collection and processing.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
- Uphold company standards regarding confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct.
- Support multiple Patient Service Centers or in-office phlebotomy locations as needed with minimal notice.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, including dress code, health & safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
Offered pay rate: Based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
