Overview
Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Denver, CO. This is a 2 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Base pay range
$24.50/hr - $25.00/hr
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Mountain Time)
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $25/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection activities accurately and on time.
- Provide a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients.
- Demonstrate confidence in both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
- Verify patient demographics, obtain initials/signature post-venipuncture, and ensure proper tube labeling in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and the public.
- Travel and provide coverage for multiple Patient Service Centers (PSC) and in-office phlebotomy locations as needed.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code, and safety/health guidelines.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
