2026 Early Career – Gen AI – Data Science Analyst – United States, Atlanta (GA)
At AIG, we are building a brand-new Generative AI team to explore how AI can transform insurance and beyond. As a Data Science Analyst, you will develop and deliver innovative AI solutions that help AIG become a leader in applying Generative AI to solve complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
Develop end‑to‑end data science and Generative AI projects, from conceptualization to operational rollout while ensuring ethical and regulatory alignment.
Support the development, implementation, and scaling of data science and Generative AI models that deliver real‑world impact.
Collaborate with product managers, business leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders to create data‑driven solutions that make a difference.
Utilize Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, and few‑shot techniques to enhance LLM performance on specific tasks.
Drive continuous improvement of AI capabilities by staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to enhance operations.
Contribute to the day‑to‑day direction of multiple Data Science activities.
Qualifications
Coursework in STEM (Math, Physics, Statistics, Computer or Data Science).
Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) is a strong plus.
Experience in a product‑development environment and full ML lifecycle.
Knowledge of Generative AI, deep learning, machine learning, statistical modelling, NLP, NLU.
Hands‑on experience with AI/ML platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and AWS SageMaker.
Strong Python skills with pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, transformers, LangChain.
Data engineering skills in Python and PySpark.
Experience measuring LLM efficacy, ground‑truth dataset quality, and guiding product roadmaps.
