Overview
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the recruitment lifecycle for FORCE America. This role involves developing and implementing detailed recruiting strategies including sourcing, screening, selecting, school relationships and onboarding talent in a way that supports our goals to attract and retain talent and promote an engaged workforce. This position is 100% onsite at our corporate headquarters in Savage, MN.
Responsibilities
- Manage, execute, and drive full cycle recruitment for all business units.
- Facilitate onboarding of hires.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, schools and industry contacts.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to record and track applicants, maintain applicant status, communicate, document and process background and drug checks.
- Utilize and manage HR metrics; track and report on key recruiting KPIs.
- Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to find, connect and recruit talent for the company.
- Conduct interviews at multiple levels during the hiring process.
- Drive process improvements and candidate experience enhancements.
- Incorporate social media and other innovations to build the company’s employer brand.
- Partner with schools and attend in-person events to share about the business and recruiting opportunities.
- Provide direction and mentorship to team members responsible for recruiting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with company events to increase connection among associates.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business or equivalent combination of years of experience and education.
- HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.
- 6+ years of high-volume full cycle recruiting experience.
- Previous project management experience.
- Extensive use of talent sourcing tools.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices.
- 2 years managing a recruiting function: budget, media/communication, process and expectations.
- 2 or more years working within an ATS and HRIS.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law in regard to hiring.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to build rapport quickly with candidates, co-workers and hiring managers of all levels.
- MS Office/MS Teams proficient.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Base salary $70,00-$80,00 per year, depending on experience.
