Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Manchester, CT.

Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting activities, including financial reports, records, and general ledger
• Lead month-end close, including journal entries, analysis, and reconciliations
• Develop and maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting efforts
• Oversee accounts payable and purchasing functions
• Ensure accurate financial reporting through quality control checks
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
