Job Title: Receiving Inspector - Quality Assurance
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay:
$25-$28 per hour DOE
Job Description: The Receiving Inspector will perform on-site documentation, visual, and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. This role ensures all products and paperwork meet engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Perform visual and dimensional inspections using various inspection techniques. Validate all product and documentation compliance with engineering drawings, purchase orders, and specifications. Review Certificates of Conformance from materials, external suppliers, and service providers for compliance. Conduct conventional and precision inspections using inspection tools and equipment. Complete inspection reports and enter data into customer systems (e.g., Verify, SPP). Communicate any non-conformances and recommend reject or rework dispositions. Utilize personal laptop and cell phone to complete inspection tasks and reporting as required. Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in: Inspection of tight tolerances and complex assemblies Large mill-turn parts and special processes J-STD-001 soldering inspections First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102, including documentation review for full traceability Mechanical and electronic inspections (PWB/PWA) CMM or SmartScope experience - preferred
Proficient in the use of precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, drop gauge, etc.). Requirements:
Strong communication and documentation skills. Computer savvy and comfortable using digital inspection systems. Willing to use personal laptop and cell phone for reporting and communication. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with required PPE. Physically able to stand, sit, kneel, and maneuver as needed; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Pay Details:
$25.00 to $28.00 per hour
