We pride ourselves on quality, customer service, and innovation. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and support the daily financial operations of our growing business.
Position Summary
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to support the finance department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is on-site in Pompano Beach, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full-cycle accounts receivable process, from daily invoicing to collection on past due accounts.
- In charge of daily invoicing involving multiple scenarios and locations, cost assignment/Bill of Materials, export to QuickBooks & Avalara.
- Send Invoices & Statements to customers, being proactive on collection efforts establishing relationships with customers.
- Maintain detailed and accurate record of communications with customers, payment arrangements, and/or discrepancies, if any.
- Auditing QuickBooks and Avalara confirming accuracy on sales and sales tax reported.
- Customers portal administration, responsible for timely submission of Invoices, status follow-up, and payment calendars.
- In charge of running weekly AR Aging, sorting customer database by class and age, excellent communication skills (not just emails).
- Assisting the Controller with cash flow preparation based on results of collection efforts, able to provide forecast of incoming payments.
- Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and management team.
- Open to learn, positive approach to resolve issues, willing to take ownership and growth within the organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (manufacturing or service industry a plus).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.
- Strong math and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
