Our client, a well-established company in Kern County, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This leadership role will ensure accuracy in financial transactions, maintain strong internal controls, and support the organization’s overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Oversee reconciliations, month-end and year-end close processes
• Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payment runs
• Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices
• Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting and process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in management
• Strong background in AP and AR oversight
