Position Information Department Ath Wrestling-275800 Career Area Athletics Posting Open Date 09/08/2025 Application Deadline 10/20/2025 Open Until Filled No Position Type Permanent Staff (EHRA NF) Working Title Recruiting Coordinator Appointment Type EHRA Non-Faculty Position Number 20049895 Vacancy ID NF0009275 Full Time/Part Time Full-Time Permanent FTE 1 Hours per Week 40 Position Location North Carolina, US Proposed Start Date 09/29/2025 Position Summary The Recruiting Coordinator for Wrestling reports to the head coach and assists with all aspects of the Wrestling program including but not limited to: team travel, on-campus recruiting, match day planning and operations, supervision of student employees, organization and conduct of special events, donor relations, and promotion of the program and all its related events. The Recruiting Coordinator will work directly with the coaching staff and sport administrators to support the successful operation and development of the wrestling program within University, ACC, and NCAA rules. Minimum Education And Experience Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Thorough knowledge of the sport of wrestling; strong interpersonal communications skills; knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations required. Must have a valid NC Driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience Prefer strong computer skills and experience working in an intercollegiate athletics environment. Special Physical/Mental Requirements May be required to lift/move 25 lbs or greater. May be required to navigate stairs. Must be able to manage a fast-paced, high volume work environment. Attention to detail essential. Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as required. Travel required.
