The
Vice President of Property Management
will support the Executive Vice President of Property Management in advancing the company’s development and growth initiatives in alignment with its strategic plan. This leader will be responsible for three key areas:
developing high-performing teams, optimizing asset performance, and executing efficient processes and organizational infrastructure. Job Duties
Oversee and lead all property management associates. Conduct performance evaluations and make recommendations for compensation adjustments. Review property insurance requirements to ensure adequate coverage for building and liability policies. Manage contract administration functions for the property management division. Draft and maintain property management service agreements across the portfolio. Ensure timely submittal of invoices and coordination with accounting and finance departments. Prepare annual operating budgets, including staffing projections for an expanding portfolio. Oversee both the current structure and long-term strategic direction of the property management department. Maintain and strengthen relationships with property ownership groups and external partners. Lead budgeting processes for operating expenses, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee equity distributions, cash management, and overall market positioning of assets. Drive innovation and growth through new business development and operational efficiencies. Maximize net operating income while maintaining strong occupancy levels. Provide visionary leadership and mentorship across the organization. Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects as assigned. Establish departmental goals, objectives, and performance metrics. Adapt strategies and processes to address evolving market and organizational needs. Resolve complex challenges requiring strategic analysis and long-term solutions. Note: this job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. Minimum of
10 years of proven experience
in real estate property management. 3–5 years of direct experience managing retail properties. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field ( MBA preferred ). Demonstrated success in
building and managing teams. Strong
analytical, leadership, and communication
skills. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and related property management systems. High level of professionalism, discipline, and initiative. Strong
organizational and project management
skills. Proven track record with
complex, mixed-use or multi-property portfolios. Knowledge of general
land development processes
and regulations. Ability and willingness to
travel up to 50%. Exposure to a range of asset types including
office, retail, and residential. Demonstrated success in
community relations
and engagement with local officials. High degree of motivation, professionalism, and interpersonal effectiveness. Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Frequent use of hands to handle or feel, and ability to reach with hands and arms. Requires close visual acuity for activities such as analyzing data, reading, and computer use. Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Annual bonus potential. Comprehensive benefits package offered. Seniority level
