What You Will Do

Lead the SSE team under the radar software maintenance contract

Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness

Develop plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans

Lead the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditation

Ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) RMF security controls and National Security Agency (NSA) security requirements for radar

Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues

Support the development of bids and proposals

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Experience in using Red Hat Linux, Windows, Cisco operating systems including hardening, scripting, and system internals to include BASH, Python, and/or Powershell scripting

Experience in systems engineering, including any of the following: System Requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, Systems Engineering Studies, NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Qualifications We Prefer

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment

Managerial or team lead experience

Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness

Experience with earned value management and cost account management

Strong proposal writing experience, with the ability to articulate security solutions in proposals and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses

Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH

Ability to perform security testing and validation, including automated vulnerability scanning such as Nessus, STIG, Evaluate STIG, and/or RADIX

Experience with leading scrum teams and using Jira

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD.
