The Decision Scientist, Manager, Business & Healthcare Intelligence is a key member of the Marketing Analytics team in Corporate Marketing.

This individual has deep knowledge of business and healthcare intelligence data across our Business Units and Enterprise partners that inform marketing decisions.

The role leverages this knowledge to analyze key business questions, driving data‑informed strategies and actionable insights.

Reports to the Associate Director, Analytics & Data Science.

Hybrid work model: local office at least three days per week.

Relocation assistance not available.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Expert in healthcare intelligence data sources (patient volume, procedure volume, claims, competitor intelligence, pricing). Synthesize and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions.

Data Management and Innovation: Contribute to future state of business and healthcare intelligence by curating built‑for‑purpose data, identifying and vetting new data sources, ensuring accessibility and scalability for analytics, marketing & sales initiatives. Evaluate AI‑driven tools to enhance analytical abilities.

Market Modeling and ROI Analysis: Design and implement a repeatable market modeling framework, leveraging multiple data sources, to assess opportunities for indication or audience expansion. Perform ROI analysis to inform marketing investment decisions.

Data Storytelling: Translate complicated data into impactful insights and presentations. Pull data, synthesize findings, tailor presentations according to the audience. Strong presentation skills are necessary.

Competitive Intelligence: Define approach to competitive intelligence and execute on vision.

Vendor Management: Co‑manage healthcare intelligence vendor relationships with the Global HEMA team. Oversee data vendor transitions across business units, including onboarding and training for marketing stakeholders.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with BUs to assess data usage, identify needs, and develop tailored solutions that address BU needs that align with corporate objectives. Work closely with IT and Analytics teams to translate technical findings and define technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Consulting, Business Strategy, Marketing Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 3 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and quantitative thinking.

Minimum 3 years of experience working within Snowflake (or similar analytics platforms).

Proficient in Excel and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences.

MBA or advanced degree.

Experience with Python.

Strong collaboration skills; ability to listen and assess pain points of BU partners.

Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.

Good understanding of data architecture, including ingestion, storage, and consumption.

Experience with healthcare claims data for marketing decisions and strategic planning.

Experience using Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and SFDC.

Strong attention to detail and focus on deliverable/analysis quality and accuracy.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint.

Team player with strong interpersonal skills to lead cross‑functional teams and drive projects.

Compensation Minimum Salary: $86,600 — Maximum Salary: $164,500.

Compensation will vary based on actual location and other factors.
