Qualifications
Valid Property and Casualty License; insurance designations such as CISR, CIC, CPCU, ARM, or CRM strongly desired.
Minimum 7 years in Commercial insurance.
Previous experience handling large premium volume and complex accounts.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and EPIC Agency Management System.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding consulting, sales, and negotiating skills.
Strong customer service and team skills; effective interaction with clients, co‑workers, and management.
Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills under strict time constraints.
Proven ability to analyze and solve problems.
Responsibilities
Identify service problems and program trends; develop and deliver solutions within customer time frame. Implement service plans for major accounts.
Meet 95% retention goal on all assigned accounts; focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Provide risk management to clients: contract review, analysis, and policy updates.
Establish and maintain relationships with client owners, brokers, insurance carriers, and consultants.
Attend new business presentations and renewal meetings with existing clients.
Serve as liaison between clients, carriers, brokers, and consultants.
Negotiate and deliver renewal pricing; achieve renewal goals on assigned accounts.
Propose and sell additional coverages and services offered by the company.
Resolve account performance issues and develop action plans to improve performance.
Manage and coordinate audits.
Maintain a current, active insurance P&C license. Complete Continuing Education classes as required. Pursue at least one designation: CIC, CPCU, ARM, or CRM.
