Overview Our enterprise client, a global leader in the automotive industry undergoing a major digital transformation, is seeking a
Software Product Manager
to join their growing Product Management team. This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative, user‑centric products that directly impact operational excellence, financial systems, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a 12‑month executable product roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives. Write persona-based user stories, lead story mapping, and define KPIs/OKRs to measure success. Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, gather requirements, and build compelling business cases. Act as Product Owner for Agile sprint teams, leading backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and acceptance testing. Facilitate cross‑functional alignment between business, engineering, QA, and UX teams. Manage the product lifecycle from concept through delivery, including discovery, proof‑of‑concepts, pilots, and launch. Participate in SDLC processes, including API integrations, database design, and UI/UX reviews. Collaborate with vendors and SaaS providers on solution design and delivery. Foster strong relationships with business partners and IT teams, ensuring alignment on product vision and outcomes. Conduct opportunity reviews, process workshops, and stakeholder meetings to drive clarity and adoption. Support internal sprint teams across Finance/Accounting, Data, Reporting (Domo), and custom Java/AWS/Cloud applications.
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership. Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban). Strong user story writing skills with a persona-based, outcome‑driven focus. Solid understanding of SDLC, APIs, data flows, and database concepts. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (engineering, QA, UX, and business stakeholders). Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
Preferred:
Experience with internal/homegrown systems and custom development (not only SaaS). Familiarity with wireframing/mockup tools and UI/UX best practices. Background in automotive, collision repair, or related industries (e.g., healthcare). Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe, or Pragmatic Product Management. Experience with third‑party platforms (e.g., Workday, Salesforce with heavy customization).
