Endpoint Systems Engineer
The Endpoint Systems Engineer will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide endpoint infrastructure for a leading utilities organization serving millions of customers across multiple states. This position is part of the IT Service Desk organization and focuses on the engineering, design, implementation, and support of endpoint management tools and technologies. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of endpoint systems—including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, and virtual desktop environments—and emphasizes automation, security, and cloud integration.

Base Pay Range $55.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage endpoint management solutions for enterprise-wide Windows environments.
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex endpoint and end-user issues.
Create and maintain enterprise images, manage application deployments, and perform security patching.
Support and enhance automation for software distribution, imaging, and device provisioning.
Manage group policies, BitLocker encryption, and other endpoint security configurations.
Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows endpoints and virtual desktop environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support system integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document processes, standards, and technical procedures to ensure consistent operations and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise-level experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments and endpoint infrastructure.
Strong experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, WSUS, or equivalent.
Proven expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, BitLocker, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with Azure and modern device management practices.
Proficiency with scripting and automation using PowerShell or batch scripting (preferred).
Experience creating and maintaining enterprise images and managing security patching processes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives to completion.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
