FirstPRO is in search of an
Endpoint Desktop Engineer
for our client located in Bryn Mawr, PA. The Endpoint Desktop Engineer will be responsible for Engineering functions such as technical design, manage implementation tasks & projects, and support of the end point management tools. The scope of these responsibilities includes the entire end point environment for Essential Utilities including laptops, desktops, tablets, virtual desktop workspaces, mobile device management (MDM), automated software distribution technologies, O365/Cloud support, security patching and group policies. This is a
hybrid, 6+ month contract
position. Local candidates only please.
Responsibilities and Duties Support and manage the end point management tools and applications. Maintain current versions, resolve issues, grant access and other duties.
Create and maintain comprehensive standards and documentation as it relates to the end point environment including, but not limited to OS versions, patching, software deployment, imaging, security policies, etc.
Serve as subject matter expert on key technology trends in the end point management technology industry leading to innovative solutions for business problems and initiatives.
Follow security design and operation best practices to ensure the corporate network and entire infrastructure is operated and maintained in a secure environment.
Support the planning, testing, coordination, and implementation of business application upgrades on mobile and desktop computing platforms.
Participate in projects and work with Information Technology support teams to facilitate problem resolution and define technology standards.
Provide Desktop/end point 2nd and 3rd level support, on a part time basis.
Required Skills Some Windows 10 engineering expertise with imaging, security patching, application deployment processes and/or packaging.
Experience with Microsoft end point and user technologies such as BitLocker, BMC AMP, SCCM, Active Directory, BCM/AMP and Intune.
Familiarity with Azure, Office 365, Group Policy Objects.
