Blood Drive Coordinator
to lead community blood collection initiatives. In this role, you will be the face of our life-saving mission—partnering with schools, businesses, churches, and civic organizations to schedule and manage blood drives. Your work will directly impact the availability of blood supplies for hospitals and emergency situations across the nation. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, corporate entities, and local leaders to host successful blood drives. Coordinate the logistics of mobile and fixed-site blood drives including scheduling, setup requirements, and donor flow management. Meet and exceed monthly collection goals by strategically planning drives and donor outreach efforts. Conduct promotional campaigns in coordination with the communications team to raise awareness about upcoming drives. Provide on-site support at blood drives to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for donors and staff. Track and report drive metrics, identify areas of improvement, and implement solutions to increase donor turnout. Serve as a liaison between the Red Cross, community partners, and donors to ensure a positive and professional relationship. Deliver presentations and participate in outreach events to educate the public about the importance of blood donation. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Healthcare, or a related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proven ability to build relationships and influence community stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in community outreach, volunteer coordination, event planning, or public relations. Experience working with diverse populations and underrepresented communities is a plus. Nonprofit, healthcare, or donor recruitment experience is highly desirable. Working Hours
Full-time (40 hours/week) Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends depending on drive schedules and community events. Hybrid role with remote administrative work and regular in-person engagement in the local community. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
