Electrical QA QC Superintendent – Randstad USA
Job Summary
A leading construction organization in the Reno, NV area is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Superintendent. The role involves executing daily quality procedures, coordinating with operations, clients, designers, and third-party agents, and ensuring overall project quality across all trades.
Key requirements include 3+ years of management or field construction experience on large-scale projects, proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications, a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering (preferred), proficiency in QA/QC systems, and mandatory electrical experience with strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes. Relocation assistance is provided for qualified candidates.
Location: Sparks, Nevada Job type: Permanent Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year Work hours: 8am to 4pm Education: High School (required)
Responsibilities
Execute site inspections with trade partners, overseeing the accuracy of checklists before and after the inspection process
Knowledge of electrical quality inspections, testing, documentation (LV and MV)
Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes/standards
Review all installations and mockups with the owner, client, and architect to confirm adherence to specifications
Provide leadership, take ownership of trade management, and oversee the quality team's documentation and office responsibilities
Engage in the submittal review process ahead of installation to proactively identify potential quality concerns
Coordinate the resolution of all deficiencies using designated software, including punch lists, NCRs, and observation logs
Participate in Trade pre-installation meetings to ensure trades understand project QC requirements before commencing work
