Senior Financial Analyst Base Pay: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

Location: St. Louis, MO

We are a nationally-known, full-service construction company with four diverse business groups: Civil, Paving, Building, and Industrial.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead financial planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Develop advanced financial models to evaluate investments, business scenarios, and performance trends.

Provide actionable insights through dashboards, presentations, and management reporting.

Track key financial metrics, analyze variances, and highlight risks and opportunities.

Drive the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with leadership.

Conduct profitability and cost-benefit analyses to influence business decisions.

Support month-end and quarter-end close processes with deep-dive analysis.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial systems and reporting.

Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to enhance financial strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).

5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A.

Strong expertise in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) preferred.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
