Your Role We are hiring a motivated HVAC Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across critical manufacturing and laboratory environments. You’ll be responsible for maintaining environmental conditions that support product integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems and related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
Ensure systems meet environmental and regulatory standards for pharmaceutical production and cleanroom environments.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
Monitor and adjust HVAC performance to maintain temperature, humidity, and air quality specifications.
Respond to emergency situations and system alarms, providing timely resolution and documentation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including facilities, quality, and engineering to support production needs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Support audits and inspections by regulatory agencies through documentation and system performance data.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance energy efficiency and system performance.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians or contractors as needed.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Certification in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or related mechanical trades.
3–5 years experience with cleanroom HVAC systems and pharmaceutical‑grade air handling units.
Strong understanding of HVAC operations in regulated environments.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary bracket: $55,000–$65,000 annually. Salary may be adjusted based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
