PSC Biotech – Maintenance Technician

Your Role We are hiring a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the reliability and functionality of critical systems and equipment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals to maintain and improve facility operations, gaining hands‑on experience and developing specialized skills in industrial maintenance. This position offers opportunities for growth through technical training, certifications, and leadership development.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems, utilities, and equipment.
Support scheduled maintenance activities in coordination with production and lab teams.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues under guidance from senior technicians.
Document maintenance activities accurately using digital tracking tools.
Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
Escort and oversee contractors performing inspections or repairs.
Participate in utility installations and facility improvement initiatives (clean steam, water for injection, purified water, process cooling water, process gasses, etc.).
Respond to facility alarms and emergencies as part of an on‑call rotation.
Contribute to daily operations meetings and help track team performance metrics.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related trade.
Basic mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with general trades such as construction, plumbing, or HVAC. Proficiency with maintenance software or digital tracking systems.
Exposure to utility systems and operations.
Experience in a GMP environment preferred.
Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and work both independently and in a team.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Salary Washington law requires salary transparency. The salary bracket for this role is set between $65,000 to $85,000 annually and may be adjusted based on qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
