As a
Account Executive - Strategic , you will play a key role in driving growth and closing complex sales deals within your territory.
What you'll do:
Engage, Discover & Drive Results : Execute territory strategies to win new enterprise business and consistently exceed growth targets.
Execute the Sales Process : Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure, ensuring results while surpassing revenue goals.
Articulate Value : Build trusted relationships with C-level executives by understanding diverse business challenges and delivering outcome‑driven value conversations.
Learn & Collaborate : Partner with Business Development, Pre‑Sales, Marketing, Implementations, Billing, and Deal Desk to deliver seamless customer experiences and mentor colleagues.
Hunt & Prospect : Develop and manage a robust, high‑quality pipeline with accurate forecasting, travel as required to engage customers in person, and represent Freshworks authentically.
Qualifications
Experience that counts : 8‑10+ years in quota‑carrying, closing SaaS sales roles focused on enterprise accounts with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Strategic mindset : Navigate complex, medium‑to‑long enterprise sales cycles, foster trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Revenue focused : Skilled in prospecting, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
Domain knowledge : Strong solution‑selling skills for software solutions (e.g., ITSM, IT infrastructure, EX platforms) that enhance productivity, engagement, and ROI.
Strong communicator : Collaborative, analytical, customer‑first mindset with the ability to partner across teams and use insights to drive sustainable growth.
Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary range: $127,800 — $183,655 USD + Variable Compensation
