We are a well-established, patient-centered family medicine clinic with a strong commitment to advancing women's health within the community. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized care to women across the lifespan. We are currently seeking a
Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion and clinical focus in women’s health
to serve as a key provider for female patients in our practice.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and expand women’s health services within a family medicine setting, while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
As our
Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner , you will lead the delivery of preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care tailored specifically to female patients — from adolescence through menopause and beyond. You’ll be instrumental in helping us deliver whole-person, culturally sensitive care that addresses not just physical health, but also reproductive, emotional, and lifestyle factors that impact women’s well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the clinic’s women’s health services , offering specialized care for gynecologic, reproductive, and hormonal health
Perform well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, and other preventive screenings
Provide comprehensive contraceptive counseling and management, including prescribing and, if certified, placement/removal of LARC methods (IUDs, implants)
Diagnose and treat common women’s health conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, abnormal bleeding, UTIs, pelvic pain, and menopause symptoms
Manage prenatal and postpartum care in collaboration with OB/GYN providers (if applicable)
Educate patients on reproductive health, sexual wellness, fertility, and menopause transitions
Screen for and address mental health concerns, domestic violence, and other social determinants affecting women’s health
Coordinate referrals to specialists (OB/GYN, endocrinology, behavioral health, etc.) as needed
Engage in patient education and lifestyle counseling to empower women in making informed health decisions
Collaborate with family practice providers to support the broader health needs of female patients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Participate in team meetings, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives related to women’s health services.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $110.00 per hour
